If I build a system on version X, can I port it to version Y?
Datomic Cloud and Datomic On-Prem can both be used with the same Datomic Client API. Applications that use this API are compatible with either Datomic Cloud or Datomic On-Prem. However, Datomic Cloud does not support the use of the Datomic Peer Library. Additionally, Datomic does not provide a seamless process for moving databases between Datomic Cloud and Datomic On-Prem.
